Our bat system are designed to provide the best possible stability and durability for potters. They fit with our 150 x 150mm inserts and allow for easier bowl or cup turning. Made from 18mm-thick exterior pine plywood, they outperform MDF or PVC alternatives in terms of strength and durability.

A reliable, adaptable fastening system
Our bat system are drilled on the underside to accept 2 M6 CHC BTR hexagonal screws with wing nuts (holes spaced 250 mm between axis). Fixing kit included.

For those who don't want to drill their wheel base, we've developed a no-drill side-mounting system. This device, which operates by pressing screws onto the edge of the wheel base, is available as an option and can be added at any time. The use of batmate in addition to this system further enhances fastening.

A true cabinetmaker's finish
We apply three finishing coats:
  
    1 coat of sealer to stabilize the surface
  
    2 coats of food-safe worktop varnish
These steps guarantee long-lasting protection and a surface with good clay adherence.
