Associated with rolling pin, thickness rods works for all basic clay shaping. They will allow you to make slabs with a regular thickness.
Thickness rods are offered in 3 different lengths (30cm, 40cm ou 50cm) and in 4 different thicknesses:
- 3 mm (1/8")
- 4 mm (5/32")
- 5 mm (3/16")
- 6 mm (1/4")

You can clean with clear water or with a natural soap, then rinse and dry them. Whenever possible, avoid leaving wooden tools in the water. If you wish, annually apply a light layer of natural oil (hemp, flax, etc.), let dry 24 hours before use. Be careful , tissues soaked in oil can ignite spontaneously when forgotten.
